Our story and mission
In December of 2021, we lost our brother, son, and dear friend, Luis Daniel Perez, to suicide. He had a passion for running, which he pursued from elementary school through college. We aim to honor his memory by organizing this run while also supporting suicide prevention and mental health awareness. All proceeds will be contributed to organizations aiding in this cause.
2024 funds will be donated to CLILA and The Compassion House

Laps for Luis is a group of volunteers dedicated to creating suicide prevention and promoting mental health through public awareness and providing funds for therapies to those who are struggling with their mental health.
